A must-visit: the inspiring Vitra Campus

One of my favorite traditions on the way back from our holidays in Italy is a stop at the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein — a visit that never fails to inspire! This incredible place brings together the best of design, architecture, art, and nature in one beautiful setting. From stunning modern architecture and exhibitions to lush gardens, a cozy deli, and even a fun slide for all ages, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The campus features an impressive collection of buildings designed by world-renowned architects like Herzog & de Meuron, Frank Gehry, and Zaha Hadid (who also designed the Antwerp Port House!). My personal favorite spot? The VitraHaus — the flagship store for the Vitra Home Collection. I always leave feeling inspired and ready to tackle new projects with fresh energy.

If you find yourself at the VitraHaus, head to the top floor where you’ll discover the Vitra Loft, which is reimagined each year. This time, the loft has been transformed by the talented Sabine Marcelis from Rotterdam, who has used color in such a fresh and exciting way. If you're ever nearby, make sure to stop by — it's well worth a visit!
