How to perfectly place a rug into your space?

Let’s talk about carpets!

They’re not just about keeping your feet warm—they add texture, color, and coziness to any room. But I get it, picking the right one (especially the right size) can feel like a puzzle. Don’t worry, I’ve got some tips to help you nail it.

In the living room, go big!

Your carpet should be at least 20 cm wider than your sofa. If your sofa’s in the middle of the room, make sure all the seating rests on the carpet. Sofa against the wall? Just the front legs on the carpet will do the trick. And don’t forget that side table—make sure the carpet extends about 20 cm past it.

For the dining room, the golden rule is this:

even when you pull the chairs back, they should still be on the carpet. Aim for around 70 cm of carpet beyond the edge of your table. It keeps things looking neat and cozy, and no more wobbly chair legs!

And in the bedroom?

There's nothing better than waking up and sinking your toes into a soft carpet. Make sure it’s got about 60 cm extra around the sides of the bed for that full cozy effect. You can place it so both the bed and nightstands are on it, or, if you want something a bit different, lay it under just the front half of the bed.
With these tips, you'll find the perfect carpet that fits your space and your style!
